HOUSE POLICIES
At Waverley, the mutual enjoyment of our venue by all guests is at the heart of our existence. We strive to provide a welcoming and safe environment for everyone. To ensure that everyone has a pleasant experience, please take note of the following policies.
Reservation Policy
We appreciate your reservation and will hold your table for up to 15 minutes past the reservation time. After this grace period, we may release the table to accommodate other guests.
Dress Code Policy
At Dreammind Venues, the safety and overall guest experience are our top priorities. To ensure the highest level of service and comfort for all patrons, we have established a smart casual dress code that we kindly ask all guests to adhere to. Our dedicated hosts are here to make your visit enjoyable and safe, and they reserve the right to refuse entry if an outfit is not in compliance with our dress code.
Please take note that after 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, the following items and attire are not permitted within our venues:
Footwear: Construction or construction-style boots, as well as winter boots (e.g., Kodiak, Timberland), are not allowed.
Jeans: Baggy jeans or jeans that hang below the patron's waist, revealing undergarments, are not permitted.
Branding: Clothing or accessories displaying messaging or affiliations with violence, offensive material, or gangs are prohibited.
Gear: Combat, hunting, or tactical gear, as well as athletic attire, are not allowed.
Outerwear and Accessories: Coats, umbrellas, backpacks, and other outerwear and accessories must be checked at our coat check facility upon entry.
Eyewear and Jewellery: Sunglasses and large chains should not be worn inside the venue.
Headcoverings: Items such as durags, bandanas, skullcaps, hard hats, or helmets should not be worn inside the venue.
Please note that, in certain cases, even if a guest technically complies with our dress code, they may still be refused entry if their overall presentation is deemed insufficient.
Code of Conduct
We value your safety and the comfort of all our guests. To maintain a respectful and secure atmosphere, we have the following guidelines:
Sitting on top of our booths or window sills is strictly prohibited.
We uphold a zero-tolerance policy for any form of harassment or aggression.
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in accordance with the City of Ottawa ByLaws.
Occasionally, photographers and videographers may be present to capture content for our marketing materials. If you have any concerns about being included in such content, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Thank you for choosing The Waverley. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these policies, which help us maintain a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all our valued guests.
